88 Orcahrad Diesel engine stuck

My 88 orcahrad sat last winter behind my house and this summmer i went 2 start and the engine is stuck tight as can be. Does anyone have any idea why it stuck. Because i've never head of a diesel sticking. Thanks

Have you put a wrench on infront of the pulley on the crank and tried it. My neighbor was fixing to sell his tractor cheep said it was stuck. I went and looked at it and it ended up being the starter not the engine. Just thought Id menchion it. If it is stuck Im not sure why unless you got some water in the oil or somthing if it were a gas or had a stack with out a rain cap I might feel differently. Good luck.
