Hi, I posted the other day about a "Oliver sickle trailer" and had no responses . Probably because no-one could figure out what a "sickle trailer" was ( Should I have said a trailer sickle ? ) so this time I changed the subject line ;>) . Well I"m going to try again . I called the man again to talk to him and found out it wasn"t a pitmanless as I thought or 9 feet long , that was the IH next to it . The paints OK , the tires are OK , some blades and guides need to be replaced and I need a remote cylinder to lift it . So I have 3 questions ; 1)Are cutter bars more or less "generic" . 2)What should I offer him that"s fair , I haven"t got a clue . 3)Where can a manual be bought for it ? Thanks for any and all help ! Take care , Randy-IA

Ah, the good old 415 sickle mower. We used to own one of these fine units. They are pretty good, just need to keep them up. We had a book, but someone that looked at it at the implement took the book and didnt take the mower. Both are long gone now. Oh well, good unit though, go for it. Pitman sticks are spendy though...
