I heave just been given a Cockshutt 60. My son is a total tractor nut and wants it fixed yesterday. I have not yet even located the serial number, I have looked everywhere, I thought that it would be close to the shifter, but I cannot see it. Did all the cockshutt 60 have full side cowlings on both sides? I need a clutch with housing as well as the pulley to go on the PTO next to the shifter.

From what I know, the Cockshutt 60 is just a repainted Oliver 60. Try Maibach Tractor in Creston Ohio for new and used parts. 1-800-808-9934. They have been the only place that I've found that has sleeves and piston for the 60 engine.

$635 for the set of sleeves, pistons, wrist pins, and rings. The pistons and rings aren't actually Oliver items. They have long since been discontinued. If I remember correctly, the sleeves are custom made, and the pistons and rings are supposed to be Continental items. They do give an increased bore. About an 1/8 inch if I remember correctly. Pretty expensive, but if you need 'em, you need 'em.
