Saw a 77 gas, all painted up with side curtains and good straight tin, tires fair tead but weather checked Ser no. 352738077D in Vinton Ia. for sale,if I looked it up right it should be a 1953. I did not start it or get a price as they were closed. My Question is The Hyd Elec controls are up by the steering wheel, with two short levers on the hyd unit, we have a 52 77gas &53 88Diesel and the hyd elc controls are two longer levers on the hyd unit, I thought that was the older style, my dad one that way but that 49 or 50. Thanks Bill

The hydraulic units with the handles out the top were introduced with the Super series in the fall of 1954. The units on your 77 & 88 were added after that date.
