REMOVED BUSH HOG FOR REPAIR . NOW 3 WEEKS LATER THE HYDRAUILICS DO NOT WORK,AND NO POWER STEERING.THE FILTER LOOKS LIKE IT WAS CAVITATING , PIECES BROKE OUT ON THE INNER SIDE OF FILTER. CAN SOMEONE TELL ME WHERE THE CHARGE PORT IS TO CHECK FOR PRESSURE.CHANGED THE MILKY OIL, LEFT FILTER OUT AND TRIED THAT. I'M NOT FAMILIAR WITH THIS BRAND . LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WHO CAN GIVE ME PRESSURE CHECKS, OR THEY HAD THIS PROBLEM BEFORE. I HAVE ALL THE GAUGES TO CHECK PRESSURES.

Well an easy place to check is the remote outlet. It should be 2050 to 2100psi.The pump drives from the long pto shaft,so see that your pto works. Its possible that you have sheared the key that holds the pump gear on the shaft. For this to happen usualy needs chuncks of stuff in the hydrolic. If the pto works i would say remove the unit and clean it out good and replace the pump its damaged some way.
