A group of us got about 15 Olivers, all 880 and older, together for an informal tractor pull at Vikel's in Tiffin, by Iowa City. A turned up 770 diesel won it. Had a lot of fun trying out various tractors. HP 70 that pulled really well, 77, S77, S77D, 88, S88, 880, 880D. I pulled the sled back with my 1755 gas. Some of the tractors were stock, some highly tuned, some highly tuned and modified. Everyone had a good time.

Sounds like a good time. I like to hear when people get together like this. I get tired of the dog and poney show at the big pulls sometimes. I dont compete but I sure do like to watch. I bet this was good practice for those who do compete. Did some one have the sled or did you rent it? I plan on building a puller some day and would like a trial run my self. Have a good day.
