I have a 770 with the power boster clutch and it needs rebuit. Do i need to take it to a shop and have it done or could i rebuild it myself. Where can i get the parts and a manual to do it. I've been pullin the tractor with just direct drive, but it wuld be nice to be able to pull the clutch. My engine is pullin around 58 at pto speed and over 70 HP in the tourgh range. So any help is appreciated. Thanks.

Some would say take the PB out and run in just the high side. The Sprag clutch is almost $500. Tom at O'Brien County Implement told me that some are using the Sprag clutch from the larger tractors. They aren't the same size but apparently work and are less than $200.

+1 (800) 320-6224. I'd talk with Tom, who tends to specialize in older Olivers. Sometimes he's busy.
