If anyone remembers, or cares, I was having problems with my 77 standard running out of fuel. Got the usual suggestions like check the float level, dirty line..... Well, I did take the seat out and opened it up one drill size, ended up about .012" bigger. Just brought the thing home the 13 miles from the field, not one problem with starvation. That's the only thing I changed, but wish I could have gotten a bigger manifold set and carb too. Sure drags down on the hills. Still wondering if the carbs off a 66 instead. Loren

What is the # of your carb??? A common carb # for the 77 was a Marvel Schebler tsx363. There were others but that is the most common.

I haven't found a number yet, no tag. When I get a chance I'll pull it and clean the crust to find a casting number. Is there an intake opening diameter that I can go by maybe, or flange port diameter? Loren
