Got the 88 goin again

Got the old 1948 Row Crop "88" that dad bought about 1963. Been sitting with rims rusted out for a number of years (do we love calcium chloride or what). Finally found a pair of rims with tires on them reasonable. My neighbor George helped me put them on. I charged the battery and a short tow and away it went. Gonna pull the plugs this morning and clean them up (it's running a little rough). I will probably get an alternator and coil to switch it over to 12 volt. The 6 volt battery just won't turn the starter for some reason.

Sounds good! I bet you have a lot of fun with the old mule. I miss our old 66. Good luck with it.
