If you adjust the diversion valve clockwise until you get power steering then with tractor running turn div valve counter clockwise until you lose your steering again then 3/4 of a turn clockwise , this should be very close to the hydraulic pressure setting you need .

Explain what you mean by main hydraulic. If you put a new pump on it, does that mean a complete pump? Have you taken any pressure checks? What happened to the old pump? Does the pump make any noise. Have you checked either the unloader or the priority valves. Did you check the compensator setting?

Are you sure you have that model number right? Are you talking about a 2-70 White?

Yes he has the model number right. The White 2270 is the same as an MM model G-1355 with the big old 585 MM engine and the Oliver tranny and rear end. The 2270 was painted red and white and sold in Canada. They are a unique tractor. I have two of them as well as two 1870's. The 1870 is the same as a G-955 with the 451. I love them!
