I've got the 880 running but it's missing and smoking alot (some probably from assembly lube) are you sure of the tdc timing? It misses and pops at higher rpm more so. all injectors were rebuilt but not the pump. I'm guessing the pump isn't good? Also what does the lube pump for the power buster drive off of? I had it running about 10 min and it never filled my filter with oil. I never moved the tractor does it need to be moveing to pump? If not how hard it it to replace that pump? Rear is full of oil.

try this- when the flywheel is coming up to tdc stop about a 1/4 inch from the mark and set your timing window marks even, we set ours at that but backed the front mark up just a c--t hair it ran pretty good there. Can you twist your pump by loosening the front mounting bolts, I can not as the pump hits the motor. If you can, you can experiment back and forth with this, also. I'm not to sure on your other question, maybe Mr. Schweibert can help you there, I do know that it doesn't need to be moving to circulate oil.

I found the correct stadic timeing which is 6deg timed it to that and it ran much better but not right after alot of phone calls we determined that somthing is not timed right internaly in the pump and I need to advance it some more untill I verifi that. I will likly have to take the pump in. I did find that the rear end lube pump drives off the counter shaft and is still in the agco price book so that is incuraging. Thanks for the info.
