Yup, have seen a few 1650's with that engine and I will probably put that engine in my 1655 narrow front when the 283 Waukesha gives up. You should be able to use your existing radiator and just make a long fan shroud out of some sheet metal. Also put the 6 blade cummins fan on the engine to help pull the air in. If you put a turbo on that 4B and turn the fuel down a little to maintain about 80Hp you will have a lot more lugging power and you will like the engine better. You may have to add some weights to the front to get the balence of the tractor back, the 4B is a lot smaller and lighter than the Waukesha was and you will likely need weights to steer it. I just tore the input shaft in the transmission up in my 1655 cummins yesterday. Guess I need to pull the engine out and see what happened, I hope the sprocket is what failed, but somehow I doubt that the shaft not hurt. Guess my 1655 Cummins is out of work for the rest of the summer. Really strange, I only have 350 hours on that Cummins engine in that tractor and all I have done is mow hay and run a square baler with it. Its not like I have been plowing or pulling hard. My problems with the chain couplers and input shafts continues. I sure wish I could find something stonger to get the power to the transmission.
