What's on the tractor now? If you have the blanking plate that goes on in place of the LPTO you can probably trade it for a LPTO if you find some one who pulls with their 30. They want them to lower the weight

Red- I don't know where in Ontario you are, but you ARE in the best place to find a pto. I'm about an hour south of Ottawa in the States and from what I understand Ontario is just about awash with 30's. Start hitting the tractor repair business's and you'll find one.

KR- Wonder what shipping would be to northern NY?

Is this the whole PTO assy? Any idea what it weighs? No way can I get to Indiana, but maybe UPS would ship it for a reasonable amoount. I'd prefer the whole assy, but need the 2 shafts, bearings and gears. Do you have an email address?

Thanks fellows for all the input. I will do a little digging around my own back yard for a 30 LPTO.The best way to ship to the US is to get all the paper work done at your local 'customs office'and then just take it across yourself. Here is one for the 'Gumper' I have a 12.4x38 on the rear of a 30 that needs replacing. Being a little green I asked the 'son of a local tire guy' if the 12x38 he was selling me is the same size and he assured me it was. When I got it home I smelled a rat just looking at it and saw the rat when I put it on. It is about 1" higher on one side than the other. I should have known ahead.July1/2004 Red
