Muck Farms Auction Oliver 1850 w/Cummins

Went to the auction Lake Mills Wisconsin. Only one Oliver, an 1850 with a Cummins conversion. Nice paint job with 6700 hours on tractor, but only 800 on engine. Went for $6,900. This tractor seemed to draw alot of interest. Also had new tires, but trottle was hooked up backwards, air cleaner was on top of the hood and there were no hydraulic couplers or hoses on the tractor. The hired man said it was used as a power unit on a self propelled potato harvestor. This seems to make sense since there wasn't any wear on the drawbar or 3 point hitch. Did not stick around to see what the OC-3's went for. It rained for most the day and grounds were soaked. Large auction with a number of vintage IH's and what appeared to be a number of tired late 70's and 80's tractors. Some took forever to fire up while the 1850 fired right up. I didn't get it.
