Tonight we actually got to bale some hay (245 bales). It's a little tough, but we were on our last 3 bales of bought hay. If the rain holds off, we may be able to finish one feild tomorrow night. The forecast keeps changing, last night they said rian tonight, not they say maybe tomorrow morning, more than likely tomorrow evening around 7. Crossing my fingers, hoping we can get the rest of what I raked, but otherwise I guess we'll have to wait another week. Ain't bad considering there's alot of flooding in our area.

Hi Don, I feel your pain. We were supposed to have our sweet corn in starting on the 7th or 8th. Did not start till the 9th and have been rained out till yesterday. We pounded in 110 acres yesterday and today only to have the rain return. Fields in the Stevens Point area are flooded this evening from the torrential rains. The last 40 acres are again on hold. I suppose I should post an Oliver comment. With having to open the fields up, we were running our 2255 with a subsoiler, a 1855 Cummins with a leveling disk and a 1855 with the corn planter. Sure is a pretty site seeing so many Olivers on one field. I gotta go find my swim trunks, water is rising!

Hopefully someday I hope to have 3 Ollies running in one feild someday. We have our 1855 that is our biggest, then our 1755 w/ blown engine I want to put a cummins in and then my 1600 that I haven't worked on in a while.

I am happy for you! Man it has been hard to be patient. Dry weather will come, just don't know when. I have hay down, but am looking at round baling and wrapping it. Hopefully tomorrow.

Its been very hard to be patient here too. We finished the 1st feild tonight, we have 1 more that's new seeding still laying. Could've raked it with the other hay, but I don't want to rut this one up, as it's gonna be around for a while. Would rake it tomorrow but it started to sprinkle a little when we came home tonight with the baler. Talk about perfect timing.
