Is there any way to speed up the lift and drop of the hydrolic cylinder on a 1600 diesel? I have backed out the restrictor and it is still slow?

Bad hose couplers can slow you down. I don't think I saw that mentioned in this discussion

How slow is slow? How fast you you running the engine? Remember the first couple GPM go to the power steering. What diameter cylinder are you using?

Using a standard John Deere cylinder (new Generation). I am guessing about 10 seconds to fully extend the cylinder, I am usuing it for the tail wheel on the plow and I think it should react faster?

Too Slow. A 3 inch cylinder should extend in 1.3 seconds at 2000 RPM (high idle) a 4 inch inch cylinder should extend in 2-1/2 seconds. The three point should go from lower to raise in 2 seconds or less.
By the way this is almostn dirty pool, but remember when you asked about the color of the seat, well the picture that introduces this section of the manual has a tractor with a black seat. Check it out and let us know. Do you have access to a flow meter and 3000 psi pressure gauge?

Replaced the seat with a white one with black edges. The three point responds very well, it's just the cylinders that are slow. Don't have the meter or the gauge.

If the three point works good that is a good sign, How do you have your restrictor set and are you sure your bleed screw is in tight.
