I'm not really that good with the electrical systems so I was wondering if someone could help me out. I'm finishing a old style 88 with a 12 volt system and a generator with a voltage regulator. The main question I have is where to run the two wired from the regulator to the switch on the dash. Do you hook the wire from the bat terminal on the regulator and the wire from the battery that runs through the ammeter both together to the bat post on the switch or does one go the the ign post? The Ign post is connected to the coil and the coil is connected to the distributor, but since this is poistive ground is the swicth to coil wire hooked to the positive post on the coil or negative? I was thinking negative since it is a positive ground but I couldn't remember. There is another post on the regulator that has a wire that runs up to the switch, I think that one has something to do with the lights but I can't remember, where does that one hook. I have one post that says lights on it so I'm assuming I hood all my wires to that one for the lights themselves. There is a coiled wire that connects the light post to another which is not marked, what is that post and wire for. There are two other posts for the mag and a ground which I'm pretty sure I don't use. Thanks in advance for any help.
