Where could I buy after market/original parts (rings, pistons, etc) for a Cockshutt 70? Also, If i got an unseized Oliver/Cockshutt 70, could i take the parts (generator, etc) and stick them on my Cockshutt and still have no trouble. (Otherwise, is everthing the same on a Cockshutt 70 and Oliver 70...besides the name)?

There are only THREE differances between cockshutt 70 and oliver 70. 1 : cockshutt on front grill instead of oliver 2: Cockshutt on engine tag 3: no oliver on rear of rear end ,no cockshutt either!nothing! They can be painted either red or green depending on age etc. For the engine it is a continental and it can be 5 gear or 3 gear depending on year made . 5 gear until serial number 303507 then 3 gear. bore 3 and 1/8 original oversize available later [can't remember 3 and 3/8 or 5/8 ] Steve Radford has parts available. Ontario Used Tractor Parts 519-523-4922 or Ken Irwin 519-429-9249 [evenings for Ken]
