We went out and looked at the plow again. I mentioned to the guy that even if it was too big, I may know someone else and he also said his dad has a 4-16 in a shed. We're gonna go back next week(probably) and get some more hay, and I'll see how much he wants for it. The pistons on the cylinders are pitted, but he said that didn't hurt because they were only single acting. It has a pressure tank off a Ford 6000 inplace of the original, said it was giving him some troubles. It has spring loaded coulters. Looked a little rusted, but it still looks alright. I'll see if I can get you his number next week.

Great, let me know. Too bad its painted blue. :)
Are both plows hydra-reset, or just the one?

It's just the one, the other sounds like a 565 like we got. This guy's a Ford/New Holland nut, used to work at a dealer and that's about all you see on his farm. Probably explains the blue. Donovan from Wisconsin

Don, let me know know what it is and how much. I am looking for a 4 btm to play with behind my 1850. Not too motivated though since I just bought a Sherman backhoe and am suffering from lack of fund$. Whereabouts is it?

His is a 575(4 bottom frame w/ one add on) could be brought down to a 4 bottom. He said his dad's is an oliver 4-16 painted blue, God knows why. He wouldn't be able to drag his out for a little while yet, sitting out in really soft wet ground. We still aren't sure what we're gonna do, we're not too motivated either(no $$$$$). We just put all new bottoms on our 3-16 last year, may just add a bottom to that. It's in Larson, near Oshkosh. The new Hwy 10 cuts across some of his land I guess.
