I thought the first issue of Oliver Heritage was considerably better then the second issue of the new HPOCA magazine. I say this because it took me less than 1 hour to go through the HPOCA magazine cover to cover. That includes the time I spent staring at the pictures. It took 3 hours to go through Oliver Heritage. I also preferred the character and style of Oliver Heritage. Oliver Heritage is $5 less a year than the HPOCA magazine. In my opinion that makes Oliver Heritage by far the best Oliver publication for the money. But I'm not surprised. Sherry knows how to do research, is a good writer, and an excellent editor. Sherry knows what she is doing and she is good at it. I'm not saying the HPOCA magazine was bad. In fact, the HPOCA magazine had stiffer cover paper.

The truth is any true Oliver enthusiast is going to get both publications because we all know we can't get enough information even with two publications and you never know which one of the two will feature your favorite Oliver tractor or have the tech article you need.

I think the new style of the HPOCA is poor!
All the color is nice and all, But I would like to see MORE PAGES even if they were black and white. Tech tips, more stories from readers, photos from readers, want ads. What do the rest of you guys think? By the way Sherry ROCK ON!!

Both are a good choice. The editor of HPOCA is extremely knowledgeable on Olivers/Whites and is always helpful with most questions.

I bet there are only two Oliver magazines in the world. I would get both. I am way to young (stop laughing) to know all about history of Oliver tractors, so I like to read as much as I can. I think I have most of the books and some literature, but I am not a collector. Just grab them when they look interesting.

I know Sherry is on this board quite a bit, and if you see this Sherry, I hope that you have some stuff on the Whites in your magazine too. I was born when those Whites were moving down the production line, and besides Larry Gay's book, I cannot find any information on them. Just the thoughts of one man....

I get both.
If I was to drop one it would be the HPOCA
I prefer Sherry's writing and style. However with the new editor at HPOCA you might get more info on the 50's and 55's, too early to tell yet. Sherry will cover the whole line and probably MM, Ciockshutt and anything else associated.
