We bought a 2150 4wd about two weeks ago. It is missing the S/n plate under the dash. Is there a way to determine the serial number. I am thinking it is a 1969 model because it has the wire mesh side shields. Any info would be appreciated.

Here's one way and I'm not saying," it's gonna be easy".

Since Floyd County Museum has the build cards, you could get the serial numbers off the engine, hydra-shift, etc and find the build card with components having those serial numbers. Then you will know the tractors serial number, model number, date of Mfg., original destination, etc. ( This assumes the engine, hydra-shift, etc are original to the tractor.)

Of course you'll probably go cross-eyed or blind, going through all those build cards, looking for serial numbers. Told ya it wouldn't be easy.

Hopefully, one day, all the build card info will be put in a computer database. Then your answer will be a quick query away.

Just a thought and hope you can find the S/N. Myron KY

Isnt there only 1400 of those 20/2150's? Gosh, to think what you would have to go through for a 1650!!! It would be neat to see the build cards on our Olivers....they are available to the public?

I have not spoken to the museum, myself, but I think you will be able to order copies of the build cards for your tractor(s). I believe B A Star said they have cards from the Super series on up.

Someone else may know more.

Hi, I don't know how you are gonna know what serial number it was but you should be able to tell the year by certain parts, such as the side panels which you mentioned. Send me an e-mail and I'll try to help you out. [email protected]
