I just picked up an Oliver 77 row crop at an auction. It has original paint and I am curious as to the differences in paint on some that I have seen. This one has the white rims and grill while others have the red wheels with yellow grill. Was the difference in the model years? I guess I am simply wondering why there are various color schemes on the same model. Thanks for any help.

The Oliver 77's had only one wheel and grill color scheme which was red wheels and yellow grill. When the Supers came out the wheels were green but were changed to red with the later models. White wheels and grill didn't appear until 1958 with the three number series. 770 etc.

The induatrials however were an industrial yellow.
