Hey guys, just brought home a 30 today, and I've never been around cockshutts much. Had one a few years ago, but that was it. My question is this: The 30 I used to have I seem to remember having a hi and lo range shift in it, but yet this one does not have one. They did come with hi lo, didn't they? Were some available without it? Thanks for any help and advice!

hi/lo was actually an option. it could save you $.05 if you only got high.

Try looking alongside the frame in front of the brakes or the clutch (can't remember which) for a round rod that is about 4-6" long that moves forward and back. The 1948 Co-op E3 we have has hi/lo. It's not like the 40s where the high and low are part of the tranny.
