I smoked my pto on my 550 by traveling down the road hauling some stuff on my mower that would keep the mower from turning and accidently turned on the pto and did not realize it until about 5 miles down the road. It worked for a about 5 minutes and then just quit all together. I was wondering if I would have to replace both the fiber discs and the plates or is one more likely to fail over the other.

Thanks

Don't make much difference still has to have a Z split, 5 fiber discs and 4 driven plates about $200.00 and dont forget the brass relief collar which should be lubed every 5 hrs. Good luck
