Well I may sell the 4 cylinder in the cletrac but I also have a 6 cylinder in a road roller that I would sell, both engines run well. The 6 cylinder has mag ignition and the 4 cylinder is battery type

Its believed to be an F series, but unsure of which one/which size. I live in Missouri close to the lake of the ozarks

Most likely an Oliver 60 engine. Look at the engine. Is there a cast flange at the rear of the engine which supports the starter with two bolts? Also on the spark plug side of the engine you should have some good size soft plugs like over two inches in diameter and I think there are three of them. As far as fitting the HG crawler. The crawler was designed by the Cleveland Tractor Company before World War 2 and before Oliver ever entered the picture. The 60 Tractor is an Oliver. The Crawlers except for the AG-6 & OC-6 used HERCULES ENGINES. The wheel tractors except for the 70 at that time were all Waukesha built. So is it a "drop in" I doubt it.

Hi J, it did have a 2 bolt starter and it looked like it was in a cast iron frame so to speak, it did have a number plate on the left side front of the engine but I didn't have pen or paper on me to write any thing down. How hard are the parts to find for them?? I know it wouldn't be a drop in as far as the HG but I think it would be better the the continetal thats in it.
