Can anyone tell me if I can put an early 1800 engine into a late 880 chassis? Chassis has late power booster. Thanks for any info.

I forgot, you may have to use a fan off a 1650 and move your radiator forward. I have put one in a 88 before and that was a couple of problems I had. The 88 did not have the power booster though. I also have put a 880 engine in a 77 but I had problems with the length of the clutch shaft, PTO shaft and fan, but it can be done.

Yes you can although you will have to take the flywheel, PTO hub, and back plate off the 880 and put on the 1800 engine. The flywheel is only supposed to go on one way so you have to watch what way you take them off and how to put them back on. The bolts will be hard to screw in if you have it on the wrong way.

If you have any questions, Email me.
Hope this helps.
