I just bought an Oliver 550, probably industrial version from what I read on this forum so far. I am just starting the learning curve, and any help will be appreciated. I am located near Easton, PA and my e-mail is [email protected]; Looking forward to joining your discussions. I am still looking for the serial number plate, which may be missing. I have read other posts indicating the location, but have found nothing yet.

If the serial number plate is on the tractor it is probably on the left side of the tractor below your dash panel (just above your left foot). The 550 is a newer/improved version of the Super55. If you have an industrial, it probably does not have a PTO.
