What oil grade ie; 10/30w etc. do I use in my Oliver diesel 232cid 6 cyl.It is in a White 2-6315. It also has auto transmission,what is used here ie; dextron, F-type etc.

Back in those days you would have used a DS oil=Diesel severe duty or a Series 3 oil. I guess I am form the old school and would have prefered a series 3, 20 or 30 weight depending on the weather. We stayed away from that 10 weight especially if you work it. Make sure the oil you select is suitable for a diesel severe duty. Check the API classification on the can. Automamatic transmission? is this your reverse-O-torque unit? Then type A or Dextron if I remember correctly. The transmission is seperate. If the unit is new to you, also change the hydraulic filter and hydraulic oil and check the oil level in the transmission and final drive. 80-90 weight here will work fine., By the way the model is a 2-63.The 15 refers to the backhoe
