What are the chances of getting parts for a Hydra-lectric switch? I took mine apart today only to find the plastic part in the center that moves back and forth was cracked in half.

There is a NOS sliding block available. Part #1K-2309. Need to contact Maibach Tractor(Ohio)(330/939-4192) or O'Brien Co Impl(Iowa)(800/320-6224. They probably won't have in stock but can get you a price. Other than that, I would think salvage is the best shot.

Working on a type 2 Hydralectric system. Part is for the inside of the toggles on the steering column. Was frozen up and someone forced the switch into position at one time, breaking the plastic/bakelite section that holds the contacts.
