I have an 880 diesel that is equipped with a power traction hitch. I was wondering what implements were available for this hitch. Plows, planters, blades, disks? Anything that anyone could clue me in on would be appreciated. Jake

About every body that purchased a 770 or 880 with the power traction hitch at the dealer I worked at had some form of a 5440 plow. Later on rear mounted 364 cultivators.

According the instruction sheet that come with the power traction hitch, a mounted plow (3 point) was not reccomended, its says a semi mounted plow is to be used. That said I have a traction hitch and a mounted 2 bottom plow I use for turning over the garden, no problem yet. I also use the 3 point Oliver 330 disk, a Massey Ferguson sickel bar mower and the Oliver 3 point sprayer.

The 5440 is a semimounted plow. Oliver used four digits for a while to identify there plows. 3000 series are fully mounted, 4000 are pull type 5000 are semimounted and 6000 series are roll over plows. The 5440 and a few 5540 models were used. They are semi mounted
