Howdy. This is my first visit to the Oliver board. I'm on several others quite a bit. I have a set of plows that I'm trying to identify. Several people have told me they might be Oliver's. They have old IH coulters on them, but the plow itself doesn't seem to be IH. I've been told they might be Massey or Ford, but I don't think so. I have a set of Massey Ferguson plows about the same age. They're very different. I had a set of Ford model 101's, and they were different too. I found one part # on them. It appears to be an Oliver #. It's on a tag, attached to the rearmost landslide. It's 204476B. Here's a picture too. HELP! I want to find out what they are, and get some "spare parts" while they're still available. Thanks. John

Howdy. They ended up being Ford model 101's. The 3 point top mast was on backwards. When I reversed it, blue paint surfaced. There were some part #'s on the cast parts too. They ended up matching Ford #'s. Here's a picture of them re-assembled. Note the blue paint near the bottom of the adjusting lever, on the casting. THAT'S FORD BLUE! Thanks guys. John

On second thought, this might just be a Ford 101. Both the Pittsburgh Plow(Pittsburgh Forgings Co., Corapolis, Pa.(412-331-5400) and the NATIONAL PLOW had similar shanks but a little different looking beam trip hardware. The National & Pittsburgh also had the land adjustment on the right & Ford on the left(maybe reversible?). We have a 4 bottom, 3-pt National plow with oliver bottoms- similar looking, but a good bit heavier than this 3-bottom pictured. This NATIONAL company made plows for others as well as under their own name. The Case 6000 series 2,3,4 bottom sold with case David Browns, etc. My vote- Ford 101 with oliver bottoms made by National.

Looks like a Pittsburg (Pittsburgh Plow Co.) If so, oliver bottoms-oliver points; landslides, shins ,etc. all fit. Closely resembles the Ford 101. I think Pittsburgh made plows for Case, ford & oliver & a four bottom model that was sold with A-C 180's(3-pt).

John. The part above the moldboard looks identical to my 565 Oliver semi-mount. As do the coulter shank clamps. Jim.

John the plow that you have is a White 324 sold in the late 70s&early80s almost identical as a Ford 101 series both were offered as cat.1 or 2 as well as 1,2,3, and 4 bottoms. I sold some of them in the 80s. hope this answers your question.good luck Terry Clubb

Looks like a Pittsburg (Taylor/Pittsburg). They also made plows for Ford, and the number for the landside rings a bell. Pittsburg is still in business, and makes pretty decent line of light/medium tillage equipment.

Do you have any numbers on the back sides of the bottoms or landsides. Remember Oliver also made the Ford plows. However except for a few things it is similar to a 360 series Oliver. The prototype 360's were introduced in the winter of 1963-63. They (Oliver from South Bend) brought one to our dealership in the fall of 1962 right before I left for the good old US Army to plow with.
