Anyone got an idea of how the plug wires go on the mag cap of a OC 3 - which number cylinder starting at 12o 'clock on the cap.

or could mail me a magneto diagram of wires in proper order oliver oc3

The wiring order on your OC-3 is as follows: Looking at the magneto cap the hole at 1 o'clock is no.1 , then straight down from there going in a clockwise motion is no.2, bottom left is no.4, top right is no. 3.
No. 3----- ----- -----No.1


No. 4----- ----- -----No.2

Unless, of course, it's been timed 180 degrees out! Really depends on what you are doing/have done. It is quite easy to mistakenly put the mag on 180 out (and then much easier to alter the plug leads accordingly), so there is the correct way (previous post) and the other way which works just as well.
