Hello, I was wondering about the Brass brake and clutch pedals on the 77s or 88s. Are these items rare? Was the center bar connecting the brakes ever made from brass? I currently have a 77 that has both brass brake pedals and a brass clutch pedal, and was wondering if anyone might know how many or how long these were produced that way. Thanks

My Uncle's 77 has brass brake pedals and a brass throttle quadrant. I can't remember if the clutch lever is. It is a 1950. All I know about the subject is Oliver was experimenting with different materials earlier on in the production of the Fleetline tractors. Jeff.

Jason i have a 3rd hand late style 770 with checkerboard grill and power steering that has only the right brake pedal with brass showing through. if they came on early 77/88's somebody must have replaced mine at some point. only one i have seen. they are around, i guess. just how many???
