I need a replacement element for the primary filter canister. I checked the local NAPA store which lists a couple numbers in their book but they aren't the right filter. Has anyone bought one of these lately? Do I need to go to an AGCO dealer? thanks.

Go to AGCO. I have a Roosa Master system and had to go to AGCO. NAPA did not have the primary filter, but did have the secondary. The primary filter from AGCO looks like a skein of yarn and only costs about $5.00. Make sure to check and see if it has the correct gasket in it before you walk out the door. I bought one and it had a floppy flat gasket, but did not have the correct narrow, thicker gasket. The next one I bought had both in the box.

Does your 550 have a Bosch or Roosa Master fuel system?
