Casey,
The Oliver 415 trailing type sickle mower is a very good unit. It was originally a 315 and later a 315A mower that was designed and built by Cockshutt Farm Equipment, Brantford, Ontario Canada in 1957 while they were a free standing company. After the Cockshutt Farm Equipment Co. was taken over by White Corporation and made a division of Oliver in 1962, the mower continued in production under the 415 model designation rather than as Cockshutt 315/315A . This unit was also marketed thru the MM tractor farm machinery line.
The PTO coupling on the rear of the unit was used to power the attached trailering hay crimping machine that was popular in the late 50'and 60's.

I think one change in the 415 from the 315A was the 415 has an Oliver cutter bar. We sold some and had few problems. However we had to add weight to some of them on the one wheel
