The Oliver Cockshutt is a 1944 wide front model, on rubber tires. This is the best I can gather from the pictures of it. Hope this helps with estimating its weight. MANY THANKS! (PS- how uncommon is it?)

Hi, my copy of Wendell says about 4850 for a narrow front RC on rubbers. I would think a wide front would add 100 to 150, what with axle, hubs and tie-bar. Nebraska test 365 shows 8145 for a Standard 80 with electrics! I suspect it should read 5145
It will be a row crop if it has adjustable axle width, front and back. All Standards had a fixed wheel track (and no tricycle option)and the axle will be under the tractor not out front.

Oliver 80s are not too rare in the UK, I have 2 Stds and one each of narrow and wide RCs. Mine are Olivers. The only real differences being paint colour and the name on the radiator top tank. All Cockshutts in the UK are recent imports, of course.
With regard to weight, it seems that rubber tyres adds best part of half a ton to my 90 - I can easily lift up a rear spade lug from flat to standing on the ground. It is a different matter with the cast-iron centres and rubber tyres!!! The front steels are a one in each hand job, but the rubbers with cast centres are a roll-it along job!!
I suspect you have a standard and want a haulage weight - about 2.3 tonnes.
Regards, RAB
