I am needing the front cover plate that covers the injection pump gear, I dont think that you brought it out to me last year when you came down to Hesston. I am also needing a gear reduction starter for the diesel, what are you using for starters? I know that I have asked you this before, but what do I need to degree the camshaft to on this diesel that I am building?
I have some trading material for the starter if you are coming down to Hesston again this year. I have two 310 heads off of an 1855.

Thanks, Lynn

Sorry I forgot the cover. I am coming out there the last week of febuary, or I will ship it if you need it before then. On that engine I would probably put it in 4 degrees advanced. keep in touch.

What do you use for a starter on these diesels like I am building, does the stock one work good enough?

i would use a starter from a 18-1955. this was the most powerful starter that will bolt to the diesel bell housing.

Are you interested in more merchandise when you come down to Hesston this year? I may have to take a day off of work, but I think I can round up some more stuff. I may have to trade you out of a starter and who knows what else.

I'm not sure, I'll call you some time and talk about it.
