How difficult is it to remove the power lift from the tractor? I know that it is run by one gear, but with the gear shifter right there, how much problem will that cause? Also, if I were to make a plate to just put on it in replace of the lift, what kind of work would be needed? Thanks in advance!!

You can also just get a hyd unit base and remove the top housing, pump and control valves. The bottom section is aluminium. Put a sheet metal plate where the top housing sat. WB.

where might you be located Marty? What price are you asking for it? This piece will bolt in the same spot as the power lift, and still will not affect the shifter correct? Thanks for any info!!

I have one of the transmission covers if you are interested in one. The cover is cast iron, but still much lighter than lift. E-mail if you are interested.

I am not for sure about the dissasembly on that part, but have heard that the Oliver combines have had a alum plate that will bolt on to the 88 and eliminate the lift. Some had 77 rear ends, some had 88 rear ends. Hope this helps narrow the search for parts. Chad
