Having problems with clutch not returning when it heats up. I grease the fitting and have removed inspection plate to find nothing to help, ie. lube splines. I guess I will have to split the tractor to check the clutch. Any ideas?

Thanks

There are two springs in there that are used to return the throwout bearing and then pull it back so that you have free travel if you have it adjusted properly. Unhook the linkage from the petal on the outside first and work the pivot shaft by hand.If it is not moving freely after the springs return it, maybe spraying a little CRC or other product like that on each end of the shaft may help free it up as it could be sticking in the frame which makes up the pivot points for the shaft.
