I just purchased a E3 COOP and was needing some help finding out the horse power the weight of the tractor, and where I might buy some parts if needed. The tractor says it is a E3 but the seral No. says it is a 1950 Cockshutt 30

Scott,
In addition to the good info. already supplied, here more.
If your tractor has over bore pistons, you will gain increased horsepower. Standard is 3 7/16. Some after market parts suppliers made 3.5 and 3 9/16. M&W made a 3 9/16 kit that boosted the horsepower to 37.8.
"Thanks" to Irv Buttray and Unimog for listing me as a Co-op/Cockshutt parts source. Please let me know when I can assist further.

Scott, the Cockshutt 30/E-3 had the serial # stamped starting with 30 then the actual serial #. The early ones also had the year stamped in before the 30. I have used parts and can help with some new stuff also. Phil also can help and sell alot of used and new parts also. The other info is pretty accurate for what info you posted. Email me if you need help Irv

Your E3 should have around 27 drawbar hp and 32
PTO hp. Weight depends on front end type and how
the tractor is equipped, but 3450 is good base
for a standard front gas model. Two good sources
of parts used and new are Phil Heisey and Irven
Buttray. Both are on this forum often. Also go
to www.cockshutt.com for other info and dealers.
You might also consider joining the club at that
website for their fine Cockshutt/CO OP magazine.
Excellent group of people in this club with good
info.
