Hi 1206, my son looked at the tractors today (Sun), the 1900A is a 61, the B is a 62 and the 1950 is a 64 according to the Alan King serial no. book.

550 Help. I have my dad's '59 550 gas. She's had a tough life raking and barnyard work. Now she needs a 2nd gear in the tranny. It's missing about 1/2 the teeth and also binds into two gears at once. ANY and all suggestions appreciated. Could anyone recommend an inexpensive Oliver person in Michigan. I don't really want to spend more than the tractor's worth! Thanks,
Mark

Thanks 1206SWMO for the pics! I'm about four hours from that sale but I think my head would have swelling if I said let's hook to the trailer and go to Kansas, honey.(from the frying pan!) I wonder what those beasts will bring? Thanks again!

The door is hanging open, and that is one of the pieces I need. Almost makes me druel. Been lookin for 2 years for that d@mn sheetmetal, and there it is.

Wide Open:

I've been told by a reputable Oliver shop that these doors are for the 1900 Wheatlands only. I'm in need of a set for my 1900 as well.

John, Do you mean they are only for a 1900 wheatland, and not a row crop, or that they are for 1900's only, not 1800's? Did you mean you need a set for your 1800 as well?

I was looking at cockshutt wheatland litature tonight and it showed doors on 1800 1900 1750 and 1850 also. I have no 4 didget parts books so can't check that they are all the same or not.

Dang, Dang, DANG!! I really like the looks that Ollie with the underslung axle (2nd row of pics). What is it a 1650 Utility :)

Wishing now I knew where Toto was or what Dorothy was up to!

KS is such a LOOONG way from FL. Going back to the weeds and putting my tongue back in my mouth.
Thanks for sharing the pics 1206SWMO.

That is a 1900 Oliver with what looks like a heavy duty wheatland front axle.

Cant you see that big 4-53 Screaming Jimmy powering that thing?? Actually the two air stacks out front give it away that it is a detroit too...

Bet that would be a heck of a tractor to work dirt with, just pack your earplugs..... You could really wake up the neighbors cultivating your U-pick operation in the morning with that monster there Shep FL.....

I think you outta go out there an buy that one, and bring the 1950 with the duals home for me please.....

Shep:

I'm redoing my 1900 this winter. I hope to have it done this spring. I know it's not a row crop 1950, but a rarer specimen, (1900 Series A). It could probably be purchased by someone on here and used/collected for many years :)

Is that a B series 1900? Looks like the old style hydraulic housing with the filter on the side and the flow divider in the front. This I&T manual states that all 1800\1900 C series had the new style with filter in front. I'm not sure how accurate that statement is.

It has the old style steering so that should make it older than a C series.I think I see 3 1950's on that sale.

Ways to influence friends and neighbors eh?? That could be the real deal Osceola Outlaw!!

I knew it was Detroit power by the dual air stacks, just never seen an Oliver with an underslung front axle. Thanks for educating me.

PS - If Toto or Dorothy get back in touch I will notify you first :)
