Went out today to do some mowing and Ol' Faithful Ollie would'nt start. I know I she has plenty of fuel, turns over good and fast. Man oh man, what's up?

Turns out I didn't have fuel tank full when I put Ollie in the shop for clutch replacement. Was pumping nothing but water out of the injector lines. Drained the tank, added new fuel, primed it and finally got fire. Whew!!

First time I ever had that much condensation. Other than full fuel tank what is another means to reduce this in the future?

Not exactly OEM but if you are serious about controlling condensation and protecting the pump and injectors you might want to think about putting on a Racor Series C or this one:>Link

I>Link think if I lived in Fl I wouldn't want to be without it. Fuel treatment is not really the answer--as someone said it is more a band-aid and some treatments that put the water into emulsion can be very damaging to injectors.

Could you fit a trap, with a drain, in the line. Then as long as you keep checking it water will get no further than this. Lot's of cars have one along with a water sensor which reminds those who know what to do to do it. Your filters were obviously full of water as well, and water in injection pumps is not to be recommended!!
A trap may be a small price to pay in the long run.

Tank already has a trap, I just did not drain it. Thought it would start right up. Let me also correct myself in that water was not in injector lines but lines from tank to primer. NO WAY did I want to risk getting water to the injection pump hence I disconnected everything before that.
I pumped all lines dry, replaced filters then the fuel, drained the water a 2nd time then put fuel back in. Primed it and away we go!

Condensation can be a problem up here (NY) in spring and fall when there are big temp swings. Drygas is a bandaid, and I prefer not to run alchohol in diesels. Best bet is to just keep the tank full. As you know, water is death to injection pumps and injectors.
