I am thinking of building a bucket for the 3 pt. on my 1750. It would have to be 8 ft wide and materials would have to all be bought or scrounged. ? is, would it be cheaper to just buy new? Any suggestions on were to buy new or plans for building appreciated.

Gnuse Mfg in Arlington,Ne buils a regular rear end bucket for tractors. Mine is 8ft, but they build up to 12ft. Awesome unit, sturdy, has a cylinder mounted so that the bucket dumps. Fill it with snow or dirt and it brings the steers off the ground.

Are you talking about a box scraper or some sort of thing to maybe load a manure spreader? A box scraper would be doable but the other would be a real pain and not very efficient.
