I want a starting crank for my 60 RC. If some one out there has one, could you possibly get me the measurements for one. I need: Length from crankshaft end to first bend Length of drop Length of handle Also if the angle of the drop is not 90 degrees. the distance from the crankshaft end to the bottom of the drop.
Thanks for any help.

Barry,

I have a crank -- it's Not for sale. Can give you measurements but it's out in the shop and I don't want to get my toes cold. I'll get back to you.

If you are planing to make one the helix that fits into the crankshaft will be tricky to fabricate.

I'll take a picture and post it.

Later,
Phil

I have the helix fabricated on the shaft, I now need to know where to bend the shaft. Thanks in advance for the measurements.

Length from crankshaft end to first bend 18 1/2"
Length of drop 9"
Length of handle 4"
Length from crankshaft end to bottom drop 22 3/4"

There are two 1/8" holes-- one located 12" and the other 14 7/8" from the crankshaft end. The holes are horazontal if crank is installed in tractor and drop is down.

You will see that the bends are not 90 degrees and my crank is tweeked a little (should not effect your fabrication).

If you need anything else post again.

Later,
Phil
