As I wrote in the other forum, call Zimmermans at 717-738-2573. I also know where there are a few OC-4s sitting in junkyards. Three cylinder Hercules engines, gas and diesel. I saw one there with a reverser, but I don't think the guy will part it out. Buy it all, or nothing.

I'm in central New York State. I know of two salvage yards within 30 miles of me that have several OC-4s, along with a lot of HGs and OC3s. One is Smileys in Schoharie County (I'd have to try to look up his phone number). An other, McFaddens, has a website at:>Link

McFadden>Link is not cheap, but has an amazing quantity of scrapped tractors and parts. He also has inventory he bought from Oliver dealers. As far as Smileys goes, I had asked about buying the engine out of an OC4 dozer he has there. It's a Hercules 3 cylinder diesel, not presently running. He would only sell the whole machine, think he wanted $3000. Zimmermans, in PA, specializes in the smaller Cletracs and has his own scrap yard as well as new parts. Great place to deal with. A friend of mine has a hardly-used Continental four cylinder engine. I'm the one that sold it to him. It's attached to a Fairbanks powerplant. I bought it from our local school when they updated to a diesel powered unit. The thing had hardly ever been used since new, the paint still shines on the engine. I'm guessing it's around 20-something horse, but I don't recognize the engine ID. Here's the only info I have on the unit.

Fairbanks Morse Model 5SJ 4324P23Y4-F1, ser.# yx4109012, 1800 RPM, engine:
Continental EPS364, #284200, engine-generator set Model B15A-204 KVA 18.75

Ok I see thought you wanted it for your OC 46, I have a HG with a continental engine in it and it has been hard to find parts for it. As far as you needing an engine here in a few days I may have 1 or 2 of them if all goes well. I have a 227 continental thats in a road roller and I will be going to look at another one tomorrow, engine that is
