Hello, A friend of mine was plowing last year and he hooked the plow therefore raising the front end. When he raised the front something popped in the rear end. Now, the left wheel is pulling normal and the right wheel catches and pops on every revolution. Any ideas what this could be and how to fix it? I was assuming that broke a tooth on the bullgear or something broke in the differential. Any help would be appreciated! Thanks and have a wonderful Christmas!

We had something similar with an 1850 3 years ago, turned out to be a tooth broken on the bull gear.If it is making the noise exactly once for every tire revelution my guess would be a broken tooth.I found replacing the bull gear wasn't to bad ajob if your able to do most of your own work. There are probably other mechanics on this board better suited for telling how to do it,but if you have questions I can give you the basics on how we did it.

Sounds like bad news.It could be in the brake on the one side, but most likely its the wheel bearings on that side.Don't run or move untill you find the cause or the gear will grind through the hydrolic pan.
