I gave $500 for my 1958 570 is about the same condition. Look under the classifieds on this web site for Jerry Bero, Newark Ohio. He has lots of engine parts for the 298 Herc.. Sam Winer Motors (www.samwinermotors.com) may also have some complete engines and parts.

I know of a straight standard 570 wheatland model
that runs good for $3150 if that helps you. Stuck
motor should really bring the price down. Parts
can be gotten from a number of members of the
Cockshutt Club. Try www.cockshutt.com for names
and more info.
