complete rebuild except crank and cam, rebuilt carb complete tune up, warm or cold i have to choke it , then it starts and runs fine has me baffled any advice ? thanks Pete

Hi Peter,
Sorry if answer to your earlier post was a bit 'crude', but sometimes a reply which goes all the way round the houses but doesn't say what it means clearly, is about as good as the proverbial chocolate teapot! Glad you sorted it. You may find she is running a shade on the lean side - adjust, then check your plugs, for colour of deposits, when you have been working her hard for a while and go from there.

You might try makeing it a little richer onthe fuel, open up the load jet ahalf turn or so and see if that helps. Sounds like it maybea little lean which is hard on the engine
