Found my right sprocket extreamly loose on my 59 OC-4 Dozer. Upon further inspect, I found the trunion nut and shaft threads are stripped (almost smooth) and cannot be tightened. Question is, anyone had this problem? Second, do you think the shaft threads can be rethreaded and result in just replacing the bearing and cones. If not, where do I get another final drive from? I guess I should have pulled on the sprocket before I bought it, obviously this has been like this for a while. Thanks for any help.

I would think you could retread it but not sure it would make sence that it would. Have you ever gone to cletrac.org, some of the guys there may have answers also. As far as finding the parts try Zimmermans, 717-738-2573
