Hey Grant I got mine on Thursday, a little damp, but okay. This magazine has lots of green.

I'm still at school and for some reason they have a block on the HPOCA page so I can't go there until I get home. I'm sure it will make for interesting reading.

I have followed along on this problem with Hpoca [member #316] Joined soon as I heard of it here in canada ,[much to relief of former oliver/cockshutt dealers here in ontario ,who I bugged for info!!!!!] I have been to every winter convention since Collinsville Ill. in 1984? ,never made all summer conventions due to farming and work [that payed for trips ] I farm 150 acres [hay and grain ,feed calves to short keeps] with olivers [show my work tractors work my show tractors] There are untold members who work for the good of oliver collecting who would never ever touch a computer keyboard ,who have forgotten more on these tractors and implements than I will ever know! I posted here the HPOCA link for information purposes reguarding the editors release from duties. The HPOCA purpose is [ as I see it ] For the preservation /information /restoration info for oliver [and for us canuks cockshutt olivers] information and the FUN!!!! of it !! I NEVER met a stranger at a oliver function just a friend I never knew I had !!!

I am not a member but I feel sorry for your board. They had to do something to benifit the club that they can't legally talk about and some of you guys are ready to hang them for their efforts. Maybe its time for some of you to take the responsibility of leadership yourselves.

Jerry, I'd really like to believe that!! However the Board chooses not to tell us ANYTHING. They don't have to defame Sherry to tell us what is going on. As it is many assume the worst because the only people who can talk won't. (Sherry apparently can't talk because the Board is holding some of her pay for 60 days)

Best I can recall Sherry was editor from the GET GO. So maybe I`m at a lost. Members should stand up and find out why Sherry was fired and want to know How and Why the Board voted to restore #3 which does not belong to the club. Never has and never will. Plenty of members would like the Club to restore their tractors. FREE Of COURSE . Thats what was voted by this BOARD

Starting an Oliver club in western canada is a fantastic idea. Associating it with that other mess might not be.
